The SRF assists in the financing for the design and construction of drinking water systems to help ensure public health and provide safe drinking water for Iowans.

Planning & Design Loans assist in the initial stages of developing drinking water or waste water facilities. Eligible expenses include engineering fees, archaeological surveys, environmental or geological studies and costs related to project plan preparation.

The SRF provides a variety of other affordable financing resources to advance a wide range of water quality initiatives throughout the state.
